An Elephant Welcome
Elephants Giving You a Welcome - Day 139 - Daily Content Challenge
Welcome! I like this Welcome sign especially with the spelling ‘Wel Come’.
There are many synonyms for welcome. Greetings. Come right in. How-do-you-do? Glad to see you. Won’t you come in? Bienvenido. Oki. These are some that come to mind.
It is a sign of friendliness if someone welcomes you. You feel honoured or appreciated or gladly admitted when someone invites you to come in.
We often use the word welcome or the response ‘you’re welcome’ when someone says thank you. If you did a favour for someone like holding the door open, they will often say thank you. When you reply 'welcome’ or ‘you’re welcome’ you are signalling to them that you accept their expression of gratitude or that you were happy to help.
The three elephants look happy to offer you hospitality.
When I looked up a list of synonyms for hospitality both welcome and kindness were on the list. Kindness is the quality of being friendly, generous and considerate. Hospitality is the friendly and generous reception and entertainment of guests, visitors, or strangers.
When you enter my home and see this sign, I hope you will feel welcome. Be sure and greet the people you meet today and make them feel welcome. A friendly smile is always welcome too.

Welcome!
Enjoy my posts.
