Reasons to Produce Something

Kekich Credo Statements - Reasons to Produce Something - Day 194 - Daily Content Challenge

Kekich Credo Statement #6 states the purpose of why we should build something.

Kekich Credo #6.  Produce for wealth creation and accumulation. Invest profits for wealth preservation and growth. Produce more than you consume and save a minimum of 20% of all earnings. Pay yourself first.

  1. Produce - Produce is a verb, an action word.  Synonyms for produce include manufacture, make, construct, build, fabricate, put together, assemble, create, bring about, generate.

  2. What are you producing?  What am I constructing, building, creating?

  3. Those of us who are building an online business, what are you creating?  Are you building funnels?  Are you assembling a list?  Are you growing your audience?  Are you creating a product?  Building an agency?  Creating offers?  Making phone calls?  Creating a blog? Creating a course? Generating Leads? Writing a book? Creating ads?

  4. Produce for wealth creation and accumulation.  I found 47 synonyms for accumulation.  The one I like best is growth.  Produce for wealth creation and growth.  One I don’t like is the word hoard.  To hoard sounds like you accumulate things because you are greedy.  Creating wealth so you can share it with others or to help your neighbour is a more noble goal.  Wealth accumulation simply means building up your net worth and wealth over time.

  5. Produce more than you consume.  Rather than consume I wonder if we could use the word spend.  Produce more than you spend and save a minimum of 20% of all earnings.

I am keeping a record of all the money that comes in from selling my Travelling Tuesdays Book.  I have divided the proceeds into the following categories.  10% to invest, 10% for play, 50% for expenses, 10% for long term savings, 10% for education and 10% to give.

Not sure my spreadsheet matches the advice in the sixth Kekich Credo but at the very least focusing on this particular Credo Statement has caused me to think about my reason for writing and producing these posts each day.  This is day 194 of the Daily Content Challenge.  That’s 194 posts that I have produced!  What are you producing?  Why?
