Execute a Well Thought-Out Written Plan

Kekich Credo #11 - Never enter into nor invest in a business without a solid, well-researched and well thought-out written plan. Execute the plan with passion and precision. Plan and manage your life the same way.

Here are my notes about this statement.

1. Never enter into nor invest in a business without a solid, well-researched and well thought-out written plan.

   1. Never - nada - not ever

   2. Enter - launch - undertake

   3. Never enter without a plan - Do some research first.  Due diligence. By definition due diligence is the exercise of care that a person or business is normally expected to take before entering into an agreement or contract with another party.  Due diligence involves understanding why one should invest in a business, discussing this project with others, investigating (researching) the business, making a detailed report, and then making the decision to proceed or to walk away. 

   4. Well thought-out written plan - a written plan not just an idea in your head.  Writing it down.  Action plans outline the action steps to be taken to achieve your goals and objectives, who will take each step, and the projected completion dates. When the plan is written down, it becomes easy to review each day. The visual becomes a reminder of what one must accomplish each day.

2.  Execute the plan with passion and precision. 

   1. Execute - to carry out, to complete the plan.  The execution of a plan is when you put it into effect and actually make it happen.

   2. With passion and precision. Passion is that strong emotion you have inside of you for someone or something. A passion gives you a reason to keep going.  Precision means accuracy.  So by executing the plan with passion and precision you will actually follow the plan you have written down as accurately as you can.

3.  Plan and manage your life the same way. 

   1. Plan and manage my life?  Makes sense to follow the same due diligence in all areas of your life.  Live your life with passion.  My vision statement is Living Life Abundantly.  What is yours?

Do you have a plan for your life?  Do you make decisions based on well-researched plans?  Do you write down your plans?  Do you have a vision board?  Do you execute your plans with passion and precision?
