Kekich Credo #56 - Identify exactly what it is you want. This takes a lot of thought. Then don’t let anything stand in your way of getting it.
Identify what it is you want. What do you want in life? What really matters? How does one figure it out?Â
Â
One way to future out what you want is to be clear about the things you don’t want. List the things you want to keep out of your life. Things like hate, injustice, and loneliness. Then separate the things you think you should do from the things you actually want to do. Â
Focus on experiences and what gives you a sense of purpose. When we do things for others or improve their lives even in small ways, we discover a sense of purpose. Saying a kind word to a stranger, cooking dinner for our family, making something that others use, or improving the world in some way can give us joy. Thinking about what impact you want to have on others, can help you to figure out what you really want.
If we don’t know what we want, we can have a hard time setting goals that would make us happy or improve our lives. We make wrong choices or rather than make the wrong move, we don’t do anything at all. So you can start living a life that reflects your needs, values and goals, it is important to figure out what you really want. Don’t give up. Keep exploring what you want and keep pursuing your dreams. You are worth it and your life is worth trying to make it what you want it to be.
Once you identify what you want, then don’t let anything stand in your way of getting it. Â
Never let anything stand in your way as you reach for your goal.
People who get what they want tend to be the ones who make the effort to know what they want. Many of us complain about the things that are wrong with our lives. Complaining is easy compared to the challenge of creating a plan for positive change. We are so creative in making up excuses. If you don’t want to do something, you will make sure you find an excuse not to do it. Turn that creativity into making things happen so you can reach your goals. No matter who or what stands in your way, if you want to reach your goals, you will reach them. Â
