Kekich Credo #75 - Persistence is a sure path to success with quality activities. Never, ever, ever give up.
Persistence is the act of stubbornly continuing to do something in spite of difficulty or opposition. Â An example of persistence is when you try over and over again to learn a new skill, you never give up.
Persistence without purpose is useless. Stubborn determination to keep to a plan that is not getting you to where you want to go is not persistence. Being persistent means you have the strength and flexibility to stop and take stock when you become aware that your efforts are not getting results. That’s why this credo statement says the path to success is filled with quality activities. Â
Persistence gives you experience. You learn that each failure gives you another opportunity to learn and you will become more resilient. You also learn how you can overcome any challenges. Persistence also means perseverance in spite of fatigue or frustrations. Don’t be afraid to fail. Perseverance comes from failing and getting back up. Â
To improve your persistence you need to dream big and start small. Know the reason behind your goals. The process to get there will only be fully executed if the goal matters enough to get you through. Deep desire will propel you and make you persistent. Rest, but don’t quit. Find different solutions to your setbacks. Don’t be afraid to start again.
Persistence pays off. It gives you the needed energy and focus to keep climbing that mountain that leads to your goal. Goals need to be results-oriented. Actions lead to results. Take Action but make sure the actions you take are quality activities that will give you the results you want.Â
Be persistent and never give up!
