V is for Visualization - Day 29- Daily Content Challenge

The mugs I am using today remind me of my time in Kuwait. The pictures of camels make me think of the three wise men at Christmas time but I also remember seeing camels as we drove through the desert and I have had a couple of rides on camels too! The mug from Lebanon shows the Cedars of Lebanon which reminds me of King Solomon - he used cedars from Lebanon to build the temple in Jerusalem. The third mug is from Hong Kong. I remember riding the cable car train to the top of the Peak to see the view of the harbour. Great memories of my travels.

Today I want to talk about the third letter in “Life S.A.V.E.R.S.” V is for Visualization. Visualization is also known as mental rehearsal. I used to coach Provincial Level Gymnastics. One ‘warm-up’ exercise I would get my gymnasts to do was to close their eyes and visually go through their routine. When they saw themselves doing a perfect routine - no falls or wobbles on the balance beam, they had a better score at the competition that day.

Visualize your major goals, deepest desires and dreams. Some experts believe that visualizing your goals and dreams attracts your visions into your life. Create a vision board if you like, so you have something to look at every day.
