Elephants -Â Guests At Your Dinner Party?
Dinner Parties - Day 135 - Daily Content Challenge
Do you like to host a dinner party with family and friends? These elephants are ready to mark your place at the table.
When I visited my sister in Harare, Zimbabwe we found these place card holders along with the matching hand-made candle holders I shared with you on Day 130.
My sister enjoyed hosting a classic seated, multi-course, formal dinner party complete with china and linens. She loved setting the table using a theme and these elephants fit right in to mark your spot at the dinner table.
Most young adults today don’t have the time or space for the types of elaborate dinner parties their parents and grandparents may have hosted decades ago.
One shouldn’t have to give up meeting with friends just because you live in a small apartment. One obvious tip is to keep the guest list short. Determine how much seating you have and just invite that many friends at a time. If you don’t have a dinner table, then place a tablecloth or table runner over your coffee table and have your guests sit on the floor around the coffee table.
Keep it simple. The important thing is to enjoy each other's company. These little elephants are happy to welcome you to my table when we are able to share a meal together again. Stay safe everyone!
