Sharing my Story
Sharing my Story - Day 179 - Daily Content Challenge
Wow - is this really Day 179? Yes, I have been writing a post every day for 179 days in a row. This challenge to create content each day has been a great learning experience. I can see an improvement in my copywriting skills. Is each post better than the day before? No, but sticking to the challenge for almost six months has helped me form the habit of consistently looking for things to write about.
I have shared things I am grateful for, things I have learned from my daily reading and other experiences I have enjoyed. I shared the Miracle Morning Life S.A.V.E.R.S. formula and thirty days into starting the Daily Content Challenge, I set my alarm early and started my day by following my morning routine. Today is Day 148 of this Morning Routine.
As most of you know, I have had the opportunity to travel to many places all over the world and I taught school for seven years in Kuwait. Many of my posts are stories of my adventures or of the many souvenirs I have of my visits to these interesting places.
Today’s picture is a fridge magnet showing a camel resting at the top of the hill overlooking Jerusalem. This is a tourist stop to enjoy a panoramic view of Jerusalem and while participating in the Handbell Festival a few years back, our tour bus stopped here.
One of the ringers who was from Puerto Rico, had a ride on the camel. I still remember her smile and her laughter as she enjoyed her ride on a camel.
You can see the saddle blanket shows a traditional geometric pattern woven into the blanket. As mentioned in my post yesterday the Bedouin people continue the tradition of creating products to be used for camel gear. See my post for Day 178 of the Daily Content Challenge to learn how the Bedouin created these beautiful blankets and rugs.
Participating in this Daily Content Challenge is well worth the effort to develop your skills of copywriting and sharing interesting and valuable stories with your audience. I challenge you to share your journey with others too.
