Dream Big

Kekich Credo Statements - Dream Big - Day 228 - Daily Content Challenge

Kekich Credo #40 - No dream is too big. It takes almost the same amount of time and energy to manage tiny projects or businesses as it does to manage massive ones… and the massive ones carry with them – proportional rewards.

Dream big.  People who get into the habit of dreaming big are more likely to accomplish their goals than those who don’t. If you dare to dream big, your mind will put itself in a focused and positive state.

This is one of the points listed in our daily study guide for Sunday, May 22.  In 2 Corinthians Paul is encouraging the Corinthians to dream big.

Dreaming is to wish for something very new and essential for your life. You stay highly focused to accomplish your goals because the dream excites you.  A big dream is an aspiration for something.  When we attain it, we believe it will satisfy an inner longing or desire.  A big dream is a bold vision of the future.

Dreaming big gives you the mental freedom to think about what you really want out of life.  It helps you forget about all the reasons why you can’t make it a reality.  It means setting the bar high for yourself and having high standards for your life.

Dreaming big starts with the belief that one can achieve great things.  Dreaming big gives you a sense of accomplishment, even if your dream doesn’t come true.  If you shoot for the stars and only reach the moon, you still have accomplished way more than if you didn’t dream at all.  When you dream you set your sights on something bigger even when it seems impossible.  This gives you the motivation to make changes and to take action towards that dream.  Dreaming big helps to improve the quality of your life.

Successful people dream big, even if a goal may appear to be extremely difficult to achieve. Dreaming big is more important than being realistic. Dreaming big allows people to invent new technology and set big goals that may seem unrealistic at first.  But with dedication, these goals are achievable.

When you focus on chasing a dream, you give it everything you’ve got.  Your energy, your heart and your focus will be in the right place.  When you achieve your dream, you create value.

How can you encourage yourself to dream bigger?  Cultivate confidence.  Thinking back on one’s past successes may help boost confidence.  To achieve big things, you have to believe that you can. Face the fear of failure and the fear of success.  If you want to do something big, the fear can be intense.  Oftentimes we don’t pursue big dreams because we are afraid of failure. Use your imagination and visualize the possible outcomes of following your dreams.  Find meaning and enjoy the process.
