Kekich Credo #66 - Most people spend 90% of their time on what they’re not best at and what they don’t like doing – and only 10% of their time on their best and most enjoyable ability. Geniuses delegate the 90%… and spend all their time on their “unique ability”.
How do you spend your time? Do you spend most of your time doing the things you enjoy and are good at or do you spend most of your time on things you don’t like doing? We all have unique skills and abilities that we enjoy and do well.
There are many things that make each person unique. Your personality, your attitude, your experiences, your habits, and your perspective all contribute to your uniqueness. Your ‘unique ability’ is your own set of natural strengths and talents that enable you to do things you love to do and do best. Focusing your time on what you love to do allows you to strengthen these areas and gives you the greatest opportunity for success.
How can you discover your unique abilities? Pay attention to the activities and habits that come naturally to you. In many different situations how you react and the things you do most likely comes so easily to you that others will recognize your unique abilities before you recognize it in yourself.
Spending more time doing the things you love to do will give you the freedom to reach your goals. This credo statement says that geniuses delegate the things they don’t like doing and spend all their time on their ‘unique ability’.
It is time to start working smarter, not harder and spend your time doing the things you do best.
