Creating Desire

Kekich Credo Statements - Creating Desire - Day 258 - Daily Content Challenge

Kekich Credo #70 - For maximum profits, identify and market universal needs, wants and trends. Creating desire, satisfying needs and wants and replacing problems with creative innovations are the essence of profit generation.

Creating desire - The definition of desire is finding what the consumer is longing for and needing.  A successful advertising message creates an emotional appeal that convinces the consumer that the item you are promoting will make a difference in their lives. You need to produce a strong feeling of desire in your customers so they will want what you have and be willing to purchase from you.

What is the difference between a want and a desire?  A want is a simple desire for something that one does not already have. A desire is a more intense craving that a person has for something.  The main difference is that a desire is a stronger and more intense feeling than that of a want.

You have to create some level of desire before someone will act.  When you create a desire for a product with a customer, you need to make them know that by using your service or buying your product, they will have the best solution to meet their needs.  Keep your product or service in front of your customers and keep on talking to them.  The things you are telling them along with the product will create a desire in the minds of the customers.

Satisfying customer needs and wants is the way to increase profits and to sell more products and services. Marketing strategies look to fulfill different needs to get the consumer to buy the product. By identifying universal trends and your potential customers' needs and wants you can use marketing strategies to create the desire to buy your product or service.
