Motivation - Happiness
A day without laughter is a day wasted. Charlie Chaplin
The definition of happiness is a state of well-being and contentment or a pleasurable or satisfying experience. Â
Happiness is more than a good feeling. It is the feeling of truly enjoying your life and the desire to make the very best of it. Happy people are more successful.
Helping others, close relationships, and a job or past-time that you love are the three main things that make people happy. Money and material things do not have a lot to do with happiness. People who focus on them are less happy than those who do not.
Laughter means to find amusement or pleasure in something. Laughter is strong medicine. Laughter strengthens your immune system, boosts your mood, diminishes pain, and protects you from the damaging effect of stress. Humour lightens your burdens, connects you to others, inspires hope, and keeps you grounded, alert, and focused. It also helps you release anger and forgive sooner.
Charlie Chaplin said, ‘A day without laughter is a day wasted.’  Â
Charlie Chaplin was one of the greatest and widely loved silent movie stars. He made many of the funniest and popular films of his time. Charlie Chaplin was best known for his character of the naive and lovable Little Tramp.Â
The gradual transition from silent films to talkies took place between 1926 and 1930. Charlie Chaplin did not use sound at the beginning. He believed his comedy would not translate to audiences if the characters talked. His type of comedy was full of physical humour. Eventually Silents were out of fashion and his later films had to have sound.
The pursuit of Happiness motivates us to do our best. As Charlie Chaplin said, ‘A day without laughter is a day wasted.’
