Spent the morning at the BC Wildlife Park with my cousin. Most of the animals here have been rescued. Broken wing, injured in the wild. We saw grizzly bears, raccoons, eagles, bighorn sheep, horses, various reptiles and insects, Trumpeter Swans, and a mother duck parading her ducklings across the path. Â
In the evening we went to the closing ceremonies for the Canada 55+ Games. They showed pictures from the 27 events and the final results had Alberta on top with the most medals won. The evening included a meal and some entertainment, as well as the official closing of the Games. The Canada Games flag was passed to Quebec and the 2024 Games will be in Trois Riviere, PQ in August 2024.
