Oops this is Day 8 of a Seven Day Challenge! Oh well. We were supposed to create two posts each day for a total of 14 posts. I guess I will keep going. There are so many things to be Thankful for.
Here are the things I recorded since yesterday’s post.
1. I am excited to learn new things - the D.AI.SY app is so amazing! I had the chance to listen to a training call about the Daisy app and I learned something new.
2. I am delighted to report an all time high in the number of ALGEHR members who have renewed their memberships. A big thank you to the Directors for getting their teams to register as Ringer members.
3. As a Read On Tutor doing my math classes online is a learning experience for me. I learned that some features on zoom do not work on a Chromebook. When I shared this information with the Read On Staff, R. gave me a laptop to sign out. I am so thankful for the resources and support our Library has for their volunteer tutors.
4. Yes! I was able to use the poll feature today with my Math Students. I created three math questions which my students were able to see on their screens and after working out the question individually, they could select their answer. I love learning new things to use with my online classes.
