Reasons for Gratitude
Reasons for Gratitude - Day 1 of Daily Content Challenge
Reasons for gratitude may be harder to fathom than usual this Thanksgiving but that doesn’t mean they are not there. We all need to shift our focus from what’s been taken to what’s been given.
I’m grateful for technology -
- zoom calls with family and friends that’s enabled us to see each other even from a distance
- the new skills we learned that enabled us to share with others via YouTube, live streaming, video recordings
- online worship services that people all across Canada and even other places around the world can worship together
- zoom book clubs, my Bible Study Group that’s kept us close - some conversations over video or messenger have been deeper than any I’ve had in person
- the skills others have learned and shared with us - Chris and his ability to create his one man band for worship videos, others who sang from home, or even outside from camping trips in the mountains
- Read On - supporting my efforts to hold my Math Classes and tutoring session online. Tutoring Students - so nice to have classes online - able to hold class no matter where we are - no need to travel to get to class and even when other things interrupt our day we can still attend class and keep in touch
All these examples show that the challenges that pull us apart can also bring us together.
